Hi all
I'm new to this group and I don't actually live in Birmingham, but I'm looking for some advice from locals. My boyfriend and I are going to be in Brum for the last weekend of November and it's his birthday and our anniversary around that time so I'd like to take him out for a really nice meal as a surprise. I want it to be really fantastic, but I don't know Birmingham at all and there are so many restaurants it's impossible to pick one just from looking online. I looked at the 3 Michelin star restaurants but they're all booked up that weekend, so can anyone recommend anything else?
We're massive foodies and we love all types of food, I don't have anything particular in mind as long as it's a really great restaurant, but I'm vegetarian so I'd like somewhere that'll have some veggie options. Ideally it could do with being walking distance from either New Street station or the airport train station. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me!
